Project Ele 2025

(an additional £2159.77 was raised through other channels)

Everyone deserves access to a toilet. Sadly, this simple dignity isn't afforded to thousands of the "Talibé" children in Saint Louis.

ASOA once again partnered with the AYDA Foundation to improve the lives of vulnerable kids in Senegal.

Project Elephant (Ele) achieved its 3 objectives:

1. Build 10 toilets in orphanages that don't have them.

2. Host free dinners and first aid sessions for vulnerable children, once per week for a year.

3. Give out 120 pairs of shoes to prevent common injuries from walking barefoot.

Who are the AYDA Foundation? The Alliance for Youth Development in Africa is a senegalese nonprofit organisation that advocates for improved conditions for the youth to acquire the skills and confidence to excel in school and continue education. Together, we believe that insufficient education is a the root cause of many problems later in life, such as under-developed communication skills, poor health-related habits, a lack of knowledge, confidence and thus motivation to continue school.
